About Alkali Foundation

Building Resilient Food Systems Together

The Alkali Foundation is a non-profit rooted in Gombe State, championing food security, farmer wellbeing, and nutrition across rural and crisis-affected communities.

Vision, Mission, and Strategy

Every program equips farmers and families with the tools to thrive through climate uncertainty and economic shocks.

Vision

We envision a world where people, wherever they are, have sufficient, safe, and healthy food anytime, anywhere.

Mission

We support farm owners and workers with quality inputs, sustainable farming, youth empowerment, community nutrition, and wellbeing services.

Strategy

We mobilize communities, build strategic partnerships, diversify funding, and advocate for climate-smart agriculture across Nigeria.

Our history

Alkali Agricultural Access Initiative (AAAI) launched in 2016 to confront hunger and malnutrition in rural, crisis-prone, and marginalized communities.

2016

Alkali Jonah Musa founded AAAI to respond quickly to hunger emergencies while building long-term agricultural support systems.

Today

We align with the Sustainable Development Goals, advancing zero hunger and zero poverty priorities through programs active across Nigeria and the diaspora.
